Light Tuna Pasta Bake

I've often felt that if I want to sing well, I have to eat healthy. This is most likely true, however difficult to rip off the band aid and not enjoy some of the foods that I like. So here's a lighter version of Light Tuna Pasta Bake.

A important ingredient in this recipe is the garlic. Garlic can help when you are sick with a ear infection. If you feel a ear infection coming on, pop a couple of these into your recipes.

So here's

Ingredients

  • 1 Tb Butter
  • 2 Tb Olive Oil
  • 1/2 packet pasta
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 stick celery, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Package of button mushrooms, sliced

  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tins tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1 cup Swiss Cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Butter a medium baking dish with 1 tablespoon butter.
  2. Bring a pot of water to the boil. Follow direction on the package for pasta.
  3. Put the 2 Tb of Olive Oil. Stir in the onion, and garlic, and cook 5 minutes, until tender.
  4. Chop celery and tune. Combine in a medium bowl with tuna and stir together.
  5. Bake 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until bubbly and lightly browned.
